A personal hostel with a stylish and comfortable standard
We are a cozy and centrally located hostel, with most of Karlskrona’s attractions and restaurants just around the corner. Our focus is on personal service, a welcoming atmosphere, and creating a place where travelers from all over the world can meet, share experiences, and create lasting memories.
With hospitality at heart, we want your stay with us to be as comfortable and memorable as possible. We aim for you to feel at home in our thoughtfully decorated rooms, our well-equipped kitchen, and our inviting shared spaces. Every part of our hostel is designed with our guests’ comfort in mind.
If you would like help planning your day in one of Sweden’s sunniest cities, we are, of course, happy to assist. Karlskrona is part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, and we can help you book both museums and restaurants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Meet your hosts
Trossö Hostel is the latest addition to our hostel family. Since May 2022, Drottninggatan Hostel has been owned by Anne Hedqvist, who made the decision to leave her job as a payroll consultant and move 1,400 kilometers to settle in the sunny coastal city of Karlskrona. It was the combination of forests, archipelago, and sea that captured her heart – an environment she now wants to share with others.
With Trossö Hostel, Anne has chosen to further develop her vision, this time together with her daughter-in-law, Marija Silver. Marija has had tourism close to her heart from a young age and has been involved in her family’s bed and breakfast in Ohrid, North Macedonia. With a strong passion for hospitality and a deep commitment to service, they aim to create a warm, welcoming, and high-quality experience for every guest.
We are proud to offer great service at competitive prices, and of course, final cleaning is always included in your stay.
